CONTRACTS

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Ameriqual Group, L.L.C., Evansville, Ind., was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract with a maximum $2,453,387,100 for Meal, Ready-to-Eat and humanitarian daily ration cases. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. There were three solicitations with three responses. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 funds. The date of performance completion is November 2016. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM3S1-12-D-Z107).

The Wornick Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract with a maximum $2,307,722,455 for Meal, Ready-to-Eat and humanitarian daily ration cases. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. There were three solicitations with three responses. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 funds. The date of performance completion is November 2016. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM3S1-12-D-Z109).

Sopakco, Inc.*, Mullins, S.C., was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract with a maximum $2,281,384,955 for Meal, Ready-to-Eat and humanitarian daily ration cases. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. There were three solicitations with three responses. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 funds. The date of performance completion is November 2016. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM3S1-12-D-Z108).

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $60,000,000 firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-award-fee contract modification for the Space Vehicle (SV) 5/6 long lead in preparation for the SV 5/6 production contract. The Space and Missile Systems Center, Military Satellite Communications Systems Directorate, El Segundo, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-02-C-002, Modification No. P00525).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin, Mission Systems and Sensors, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $21,036,485 cost-plus-fixed-fee with performance incentives, cost-plus-award-fee, and cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-09-C-5103) to exercise options for procurement of fiscal 2012 Aegis platform systems engineering agent activities and Aegis modernization advanced capability build engineering for CG 57 and DDG 51 class ships. The platform systems engineering agent manages the in-service combat systems configurations, as well as the integration of new or upgraded capability into CG 57 and DDG 51 class ships. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed by December 2012. Funds in the amount of $7,536,485 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY

The Missile Defense Agency is announcing the award of a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification (P00049) to exercise an option to The Boeing Co., Huntsville, Ala., under contract HQ0147-09-C-0007. The total value of this option exercise is $36,686,541, increasing the total contract value from $692,900,701 to $729,587,242. Under this modification, the contractor will manage the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) weapon system sustainment and operations support to include system sustainment, training, and operations support of the GMD mission assets. The work will be performed in Fort Greely, Alaska; Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif.; Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Huntsville, Ala. The performance period is from Dec. 1, 2011 through Feb. 29, 2012. Fiscal 2012 research, development, test and evaluation funds will be used to incrementally fund this initial effort. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Missile Defense Agency, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.
